Custom software

Software for the work you do by hand.

Custom applications and software that make small and mid-sized businesses more efficient. Built once, priced up front, finished in weeks.

Fifteen years running operations before we wrote a line of code. Manufacturers, distributors, contractors and professional practices across Maryland.

What we do

Discover
A video call or a visit to your business, walking through how the work actually moves and where the time goes.
Build
A custom app or software for the work worth automating.
Run
We host it, monitor it, back it up and support it. We watch it around the clock to make sure it stays up and running.

The problem

Somebody on your team is doing a job a computer should be doing.

What we build

Custom applications and software that make your business run more efficiently.

We are not trying to replace your people with software. The opposite. We give you back the time and money that repetitive work consumes, so your team can put both toward the work that actually needs a person.

Order intake

Orders move from email into your system without anyone retyping them.

Quoting tools

Quotes built from your own price rules, so two people quote the same job the same way.

Inventory and job tracking

One record of what you have, where it is, and what stage it is at.

Scheduling and dispatch

Who is going where, what changed this morning, and who needs to know.

Reporting

The weekly numbers assembled and sent without a person building the file.

Connectors and integrations

QuickBooks, ERPs, shipping carriers, CRMs and the other systems that do not talk to each other, made to talk to each other.

AI integrations

Reading documents, emails and PDFs to pull the data out, drafting routine replies, and chatbots that answer questions against your own records.

Mobile apps and field tools

Apps your crews use on a phone in the field, and mobile versions of the tools the office already runs.

E-commerce and online ordering

Online ordering, checkout and payment, wired back into the system you already use so nothing gets retyped.

Other customers’ builds

What the work looks like when it is finished.

People make mistakes on repetitive work. Software does not get tired, so the routine parts come out right every time. Catching what the software was never told to look for still takes a person, and that check stays with your team.

Distribution facility · 23 employees · Sykesville, MD

6 hrs/week

+$8,000 a year

Order intake pulled from email into the shop system. The person who retyped orders now schedules the floor.

Manufacturer · 12 employees · Lutherville, MD

9 hrs/week

+$23,000 a year

Reporting automated out of an aging ERP system. Packing and shipping overhauled. Inventory checked for errors every day instead of when something goes wrong.

Plumbing contractor · 18 staff · Essex, MD

16 hrs/week

+$21,000 a year

Quoting moved off a spreadsheet and onto a shared application. Quotes go out the same day now.

How it works

Five steps, and you can stop after any of them.

01

The call

Sixty minutes, on video or at your place of business. You show us how the work moves.

02

The list

Within five business days, ranked, with hours and dollars saved attached.

03

You choose

One item, several, or none. The list is yours either way.

04

The build

Fixed price, two to four weeks for a completed build, but we normally complete builds even faster.

05

Handoff

We set it all up for you and show you how it all works. Training and implementation included.

Pricing

The audit is free. Builds are a fixed price.

We start with a sixty-minute Paper Audit, on video or at your business. Within five business days you get a ranked written list of the repetitive work, each item with hours per week, dollars per year, and a fixed price to fix it. Builds run two to four weeks and we host and support what we build.

Tell us what you’re still doing by hand.

Write to us. Two or three sentences is plenty: what the task is, who does it, and how often.

We read and answer every message ourselves.
